Telemedicine Clincial Physician Services

Below are listed the current telehealth services provided by the University of Illinois. To see one of our telehealth providers, you will have to be at a location that has the appropriate equipment to communicate with our telehealth network. Please contact us if you would like to schedule a test to see if the communication systems are compatible. If you don’t see a clinical service listed that you are interested in, please let us know and we will see if we can arrange a telehealth consult with the specialist that you request.

The Section of Digestive Diseases and Nutrition currently provides online telehealth consultations with a focus on helping primary care providers manage hepatitis in their primary care office and rural clinics. By integrating this service support in the location where the patient gets their primary care as well, a better coordination between the specialist and primary care provider is possible.

Telehealth is a great way to help primary care providers manage patients with HIV, Endocarditis, or other infectious diseases. Primary care providers can also obtain professional consultations by an infectious disease physician right in their own offices.

Sometimes a wound just doesn’t seem to heal like you expect. When this happens, the University of Illinois Wound Care experts are here to help.
