  • College wide Advocacy Committee ongoing membership from all 3 campuses – including faculty, staff and students.
    • Developed sub-committees to address Committee priorities
    • Sub-Committees: Professionalism, Policy Review & Recommendations, Student Evaluations, LGBTIA Concerns & Support, Compensation, Staff Development.
  • Developed and Conducted Unconscious Bias Training for UI COM faculty and staff through the BRIDgE Program. This training was developed for faculty, staff, and residents for all campuses. Physicians can earn 2-CME credits for their participation
  • Developed and implemented the Accountability, Respect, and Commitment (ARC) Program in the medical school curriculum to promote healthy relationships and communication skills to ensure all parties feel valued and supported. The program is led by faculty and medical student facilitators.
  • Over the past 4 years, increased UI COM visibility at pre-health and residency recruitment fairs
