Overview
The Project Management Office (PMO) plays a central role in supporting the College of Medicine’s mission of education, research, and clinical excellence. Our mission is to promote collaboration and efficiency, ensuring that projects are prioritized and executed at the right time with the right resources, college-wide
The PMO collaborates with functional areas and regional campuses to ensure the coordination of resources and schedules, thereby preventing siloed activities and misalignment. This unified approach fosters greater synergy and ensures our community remains focused on the most critical initiatives. With improved visibility into program status, risks, and resource requirements, the PMO drives consistent program delivery and business value. By providing structure, project management tools, and guidance, the PMO helps to ensure that projects are delivered effectively, efficiently, and with measurable impact.
Our Mission
The PMO aims to provide professional project management that creates value for the College, where we:
- Utilize a centralized IT governance structure led by a cross-functional team that includes representatives from various unites.
- Prioritize the use of uniform software solutions and promote integration between systems.
- Operate with transparency to strengthen trust and engagement across all campuses and units.
