Educational Goals and Leadership Heading link

The University of Illinois College of medicine is one of the nation’s largest and most diverse medical schools, consisting of three campuses with differing environments and a shared strategic vision. Students and resident physicians come from all over the world to study, and they represent a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.

The College of Medicine is committed to continuously updating its educational strategies. Our current educational goals focus on the following:

  1. Providing a first-rate education for a diverse body of graduate and medical students and trainees
  2. Modernizing the physical learning spaces to provide the best possible educational environment, and
  3. Improving student achievement, competence and leadership skills, while easing the burden of rising educational costs

While our students are spread across three campuses, our core College-wide leadership embraces these, a unified mission and overarching goals.
