Illinois Telehealth Resource Center
The Illinois Telehealth Resource Center is growing and expanding. The Illinois Telehealth Resource Center supports the broader vision of telehealth training and research at the University of Illinois. Please visit often and if you have questions or if you would like to partake in any of our training programs, please contact us for more information.

The telehealth demonstration room is an ideal way to introduce telehealth and telemedicine consults to individuals. By use of both projected and monitor display environments, users can learn about issues such as parallax, managing multiple displays, and how to work as a team to provide a high quality telehealth experience for patients.

The training facility is part of the College of Medicine Clinical Performance Center where standardized patients are used to create realistic patient encounters via telehealth. CME programs will be offered for practicing providers through a program that focuses on communication methods and training via video conferencing systems.

The testing lab serves as both a training facility and an environment to test telehealth applications on various platforms and operating systems. By leveraging professional actors, consistent training experiences can be created to educate residents, medical students, and professional providers about proper telehealth services delivery.
