Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Illinois College of Medicine!
Before you matriculate this fall, please take note and mark your calendar for important Plan to Enroll (PTE) and Commit to Enroll (CTE) dates and deadlines.

Selecting your campus assignment
Once an offer has been made to you, please log in to the Secondary Application Portal to select “Accept” and then proceed with ranking your campuses. You have one week after acceptance to enter your campus preference.
- Campus assignments are made shortly after you have entered your campus preference
- An accepted applicant could potentially be placed on any campus. Campus site assignments are final.

Accepting Functional and Behavioral Standards
- Through the Secondary Application Portal, scroll to the “Pre Matriculation” menu on the left hand side, and select “Functional and Behavioral Standards.”

Plan to enroll (PTE) through Choose Your Medical School (CYMS) in AMCAS Heading link
- UI COM follows the Plan to Enroll deadlines as described in the Choose Your Medical School (CYMS) tool.
- UI COM must be your Plan to Enroll school by April 30th, if you intend to attend UI COM.
- Failure to meet the Plan to Enroll deadlines may result in withdrawal of your offer of admission.
Commit to enroll (CTE) through Choose Your Medical School (CYMS) in AMCAS Heading link
- Selecting “Commit to Enroll” indicates that you have made a commitment to join our program and are not holding any other offers or positions on any waitlists.
- Commit to Enroll (CTE) becomes available on April 30th.
- CTE deadline is June 30 of the year you plan to matriculate.
- Failure to meet the Commit to Enroll deadlines may result in withdrawal of your offer of admission.

Immunizations
We utilize Castlebranch services for immunizations, labs, and titers. Many of these requirements are due before you matriculate, and some can be completed after classes begin. For a full list of all that is required, visit Immunization Requirements.
Background Checks
UI COM uses Accurate Biometrics to complete matriculating student background checks. Detailed information will be sent at the appropriate time.
