College of Medicine Faculty Honored During Annual Award Ceremony

The University of Illinois College of Medicine celebrated its faculty Thursday, November 14 in the Faculty Alumni Lounge during the 2024 Faculty Recognition Ceremony.
Dean’s Awards, UIC Faculty Awards, Departmental Rising Star, and Faculty of the Year Recipients were honored, with G. Stephen Irwin Executive Dean Mark Rosenblatt, MD, PhD, MBA, MHA and Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs Pauline Maki, PhD, serving as co-emcees and presenters.
“The roles of our faculty members are integral in fulfilling our College’s mission: to advance health for everyone through outstanding education, research, clinical care, and social responsibility. Each one of those components is on display today through you – our talented, accomplished, and dedicated faculty,” Executive Dean Rosenblatt said at the event. “You represent excellence, dedication, creativity, and compassion. You all represent the very best in your field.”
