    Developed sub-committees to address Committee priorities
    Sub-Committees: Data Management, Professionalism Policy Review & Recommendations, Student Evaluations, LGBT Support & Salary Pay Equity
  • Conducted Implicit Bias Training for UI COM faculty and staff – Completed
    BRIDgE – Have conducted 2-years of implicit bias reduction training for faculty & staff over all campuses
    Working on application for CME credits for BRIDgE Program
  • Developed & implemented Anti-Racism Curriculum (ARC) Program with the support of faculty and peer-to-peer, medical student tutors – Completed
    For 4 years, conducted 4-5 ARC sessions to discuss difficult topics regarding racism
    Expanding ARC sessions over M3 & M4 years
    Addressing suggestions of ARC tutors to improve the program
  • Conducted a College-Wide Climate Assessment – Completed
    Prioritizing recommendations from the College-Wide Climate Assessment to be addressed
