Research Forum FAQ
FAQs Heading link
Can I submit an abstract/poster on a project that is associated with another institution?
Yes, but please make sure to get approval from the project lead.
Can I submit an abstract/poster that has already been presented elsewhere, for example at another conference?
Yes.
Can I submit a case study?
Yes.
Are there specific sizes for the poster?
There are not specific dimensions required since this is online competition and the judges will just be looking at a pdf of your poster. Most applicants use the standard PowerPoint size of 48 x 36. For help on poster formatting, please click here.
Is there a character limit for submission?
The character limit just refers to the body of the abstract, not the titles/authors. You’ll fill out the title, authors, etc. in other sections of the online application. You should only be prompted by the system to type in (or copy & paste) the text of your abstract in the appropriate text box in the online application.
How will I know if my online submission was successful?
You will receive a confirmation email if your submission was successful. If you do not receive this email, please verify that all required fields were completed and that the form was submitted correctly. Please check your spam folder for an email from noreply@qemailserver.com. Late or unsuccessful submissions will not be considered.
