College of Medicine Faculty Honored During Annual Ceremony
The University of Illinois College of Medicine celebrated its faculty Tuesday, Nov. 14, in the Faculty Alumni Lounge during the 2023 Faculty Recognition Ceremony.
Dean’s Awards, UIC Faculty Awards, Departmental Rising Star and Faculty of the Year recipients were honored, with G. Stephen Irwin Executive Dean Mark Rosenblatt, MD, PhD, MBA, MHA, and Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs Pauline Maki, PhD, serving as co-emcees and presenters.
“As we all know, the roles of our faculty members are integral toward fulfilling our College’s mission: to advance health for everyone through outstanding education, research, clinical care and social responsibility,” Executive Dean Rosenblatt said. “Each one of those components of our mission is on display today through you – our respected and accomplished faculty. I hope you understand how important you are to all that we do here at the College of Medicine.”
