Assessment and Evaluation

The Medical Education Data Group, within the College’s Office of Educational Affairs, ensures that medical students:

  • have assessments that are developed collaboratively by faculty representing each campus and multiple disciplines;
  • have a longitudinal view of their performance on quizzes and final exams so that data can be used as assessments for learning.
  • become familiar with the expectations of the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) exams through repeated practice in a proctored environment;
  • are active co-creators of their learning environment, through participation in program evaluation and course reviews.

For questions about assessment and evaluation, please contact the Medical Education Data Group, and the curricular affairs team at your campus.
