The Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA) supports our students by administering federal, institutional, and external aid. We believe that financial literacy is key to enhancing a student’s college experience and transition after graduation. Our professional staff provides personalized advising and outreach to empower students and make higher education more accessible.

  • Nov 22:  Last Day to accept loans on Financial Aid Notification and sign MPN for fall 2024.
  • Nov 25, 26, & 27: COM OSFA will be available via remote services only. Please contact us at medicinefinaid@uic.edu for assistance.
  • Nov 28-29:  Office Closed – Thanksgiving Holiday
  • Dec 1: 2025-26 FAFSA becomes available.
  • Dec 13: Fall 2024 semester ends.

2025

  • Jan 4: First spring disbursement.
  • Jan 6: First spring refunds issued.
