Creating a new website Heading link
College-affiliated websites must be on the uic.edu domain.
The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) requires all college-affiliated websites to be hosted on the uic.edu domain. This ensures that all UIC websites are secure, accessible, and consistent with the university’s branding and identity.
Creating websites on any other domain (.com, .org, etc.) is prohibited.
Creating a website on a domain other than uic.edu is prohibited by the university. Websites hosted on other domains are not subject to the same security and accessibility standards as uic.edu websites. Additionally, websites hosted on other domains may not be consistent with the university’s branding and identity.
Adding pages/sections to the existing site
- For adding pages on the main college website (medicine.uic.edu) or the Chicago website (chicago.medicine.uic.edu), please reach out to our web team by creating a ticket.
- For rockford.medicine.uic.edu or peoria.medicine.uic.edu, please reach out to the individual campus marketing/web teams.
