Interfolio
UIC has adopted Interfolio, a comprehensive faculty information system that will serve as the university’s system of record for faculty activity tracking, web profiles, reporting and promotion and tenure review.
All Colleges will need to utilize Interfolio’s Review, Promotion and Tenure (RPT) module for submission and review of promotion cases in the AY2026-27 cycle.

Fall 2025 COM New Faculty Orientation
The Fall 2025 New Faculty Orientation event was held October 30th, from 8:00 – 9:15am. The program included opening remarks from the Dean, an overview of faculty appointments and promotion from Associate Dean Maki, and breakout sessions where faculty were oriented to their track and had an opportunity to meet with colleagues. The next event will be held in Spring 2026.
