College of Medicine Submission Requirements
INTERFOLIO: Units must utilize Interfolio’s Review, Promotion and Tenure (RPT) module for submission and review of promotion cases in the AY2026-27 cycle. Resources and support are available at UIC’s Interfolio Implementation web page.
UIC’s Dossier form and other required external documents will need to be uploaded to Interfolio. Unit coordinators may find the Interfolio Quick Reference Checklist helpful.
College-specific guidance:
- Peer Evaluation of Teaching Process – Use this template to add the unit-level process for peer evaluation of teaching to the College-level process already provided. Upload to Interfolio using the naming convention “Peer Evaluation of Teaching Process [Candidate’s Last Name] 26=27”.
- Peer Evaluation of Teaching form – Use this College of Medicine form to present an aggregate summary view of the peer evaluations of the candidate’s teaching. Upload to Interfolio using the naming convention “Peer Evaluation of Teaching [Candidate’s Last Name] 26=27”. Additionally, the College requires 3 or more letters from former trainees/students and/or peers. These letters may be combined and uploaded to Interfolio using the naming convention “Evaluation of Teaching Student-Trainee Letters [Candidate’s Last Name] 26-27”.
- Letters of Support – While letters of support are categorized as optional, the College of Medicine strongly recommends providing 3 or more letters from collaborators or colleagues who can speak to the candidate’s achievements in their area of clinical, research or teaching expertise. Combine and upload letters to Interfolio using the naming convention “Letters of Support [Candidate’s Last Name] 26-27”.
